When I first started in Network Marketing, there was no one to guide me in the right direction, so I just tried different things randomly. I spent way more time creating presentations rather than making presentations and wasted all the precious time over analyzing.

That’s because I didn’t really know what else to do. I knew I wanted to help a lot of people succeed in the business but most people didn’t buy into my MLM deal the way I thought they would.

I had to burn several good prospects before getting a small number of them to join my organization. The only way to present to someone was to hide the reason I wanted to sit down with them. I’d be really nervous during the invitation process because if they’d come up with objections, I wouldn’t know what to do, or worst, they’d refuse to meet me in the first place.

Over the last few years quite a few recruiting systems have surfaced and each one promised to recruit for you. I’ve tried about half a dozen of these different prospecting and presenting systems. Things like automated websites, powerlines, 3-way calling, local opportunity meetings, conference calls, webinars, etc. I tried some of the strategies these gurus used but it only seemed to be working for them, not for me.
